NGANH is a member of NH State Veterans Advisory Committee.
"The State Veterans Advisory Committee State Veterans Advisory Committee
(SVAC), as established by RSA 115-A:8, serves as an advisory body on issues
affecting New Hampshire veterans. The SVAC proposes legislation, reviews
and comments on proposed legislation, monitors the status of veterans in New
Hampshire, solicits publicity regarding veterans’ issues, and provides
recommendations to the House of Representatives, State Senate, and the
Governor and Council.
Membership of the committee consists of two members of the NH house of
representatives, one of whom shall be from the state-federal relations and
veterans affairs committee; two members of the NH senate; ten
representatives of the various veterans' organizations in the state of New
Hampshire:
(a) Air Force Association (AFA);
(b) American Legion;
(c) Disabled American Veterans (DAV);
(d) Military Officers Association of America (MOAA);
(e) Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH);
(f) National Guard Association of New Hampshire (NGANH);
(g) Reserve Officers Association (ROA);
(h) The Retired Enlisted Association (TREA);
(i) Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW);
(j) Vietnam Veterans of America.
